I think that I had a little to do with why I was made a shelter hero. I mean my name is Diana, named after the Rightful Princes of the People herself, Ms. Princess Diana who deserved better than what she got, but that's a conversation for when you adopt me. So as you can see I am sort of a big deal, and popular, and beautiful and I would have put my own price higher but I was told to tone it down a bit so whatever I guess. But that doesn't mean that I am not a down to earth kitten that needs good toys, good fish, and a good cat castle to call my own in your (my) home. I am as excited as to meet you are you are to meet me, so when are you going to make it happen hooman!? Diana's adoption fee is $200. She is a SHELTER HERO!!! This means that 100% of her higher adoption fee is used to offset the cost of caring for the other animals at the shelter. Also remember by adopting a shelter hero, you not only gain a new best friend but also make a positive impact on the lives of animals and the community as a whole.Diana is neutered/spayed and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, DIANA's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and DIANA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, DIANA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the DIANA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, DIANA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
