Please be aware we do not hold dogs until an appointment to meet them is scheduled. Sweet, energetic fox like Miniature Pinscher mix Approximate DOB 5/1/2024 – About 11 lbs Wolverine was part of a large hoarding case. He was among about 30 small dogs - some inside and some outside. He was an outdoor only dog so is still learning the ropes of being a house dog. He is still pretty shy so will need a very loving, understanding family to love. However, he has finally started to learn how to trust and now runs up to me for attention!! He is absolutely the most loving little boy and he has the sweetest eyes. He would love to have his very own person that can just dote on him. He is still working on house training. He seems to have got the hang of using the dog door and there have been no accidents in a few weeks thank goodness.. He has met a bunch of other dogs since he has been here and loves all of them. His favorite is a husky named Vegas though!! These two are together all the time non-stop!! He is absolutely smitten with her and I think even though he would love his own person he would love a female dog to wrestle with. He will make someone a perfect little friend. His ideal person or people will help him overcome his past through giving him new experiences, lots of love, attention, and treats. We are sure once he understands how wonderful change is he will continue blossoming by leaps and bounds. Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations - Fee $150 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to the meeting but not required. Steps for adoption: Read bio, email to request application or download it from the main website, fill it out completely and email it back, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet, schedule an appointment, directions will be emailed or text to you. Adoption fees are cash only. If you would like to provide snacks, toys, food, and care for the dogs while they wait for their happily ever afters we would truly appreciate it. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and **WOLVERINE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, **WOLVERINE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the **WOLVERINE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, **WOLVERINE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
