Please be aware we do not hold dogs until an appointment to meet them is scheduled. Tiny Male looks to be a Toy Fox Terrier!!! Approximate DOB 5/1/2024 – About 12 lbs Charlie was part of a large hoarding case. He was among about 30 small breed dogs- some inside and some outside. He was an outdoor only dog so his foster momma has had to teach him the ins and outs of being a house dog and family member. He is pretty skittish with strangers so will need a very loving, understanding family to love. However, his foster mom said he is very smart and is learning quickly how awesome it is to be part of a family. He has done awesome learning the house training routine and will wait to be picked up to go outside or brought back in. He is good with the cats(probably because they are bigger than him) but he isn't a fan of dominant dogs. He would probably do best in a home with female dog/s, no dogs, or just cats. He was really scared of toys but his foster mom has been working with him and he now realizes they are pretty fun. He does get the zoomies and is getting more and more comfortable with his foster mom even dancing on his hind legs when he sees her. He is absolutely darling!!! He will make someone a perfect little friend. His ideal person or people will help him overcome his past through giving him new experiences, lots of love, attention, and treats. We are sure once he understands how wonderful change is he will continue blossoming by leaps and bounds - he has already made so much progress so I am sure he will be your bff in no time flat. His foster mom feels he is a bit too mouthy for small children so probably no little ones not because he is aggressive he just doesn't really know how to be gentle and because he is skittish with strangers and most kids want to be able to go up and pet new dogs which would probably scare him. Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations - Fee $150 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. Send an email to request the application or you can download it from the main site www.almosthomenm.org and email it to [email protected] Dogs are seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to the meeting but not required. Steps for adoption: Read entire bio, send an email to request an application [email protected] or download it from the main website www.almosthomenm.org, save it to your desktop, fill it out completely and save it, then email it to us, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet so we can schedule an appointment, directions will then be emailed or text to you. 100% of **CHARLIE's balance will be sent to whoever adopts **CHARLIE.
Adopt **CHARLIE and Receive **CHARLIE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, **CHARLIE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is **CHARLIE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the **CHARLIE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming **CHARLIE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and **CHARLIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, **CHARLIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the **CHARLIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, **CHARLIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
