He came to the shelter as a baby, alongside his sister Andromeda, and has spent most of his young life growing up here. Thanks to time, patience, and love, Leo has graduated from our Shy Dog Program and is making steady progress. Heâs learning that the world isnât such a scary placeâhis leash skills have improved, and heâs getting more comfortable walking into buildings and new spaces. While Leo is still unsure about hands reaching toward him, he's showing more and more curiosity and bravery each day.He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and may thrive in a home with a confident canine friend, but as always, a meet and greet is recommended to ensure a good match. Leo is looking for a calm, patient adopter who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. If you have a quiet home and a kind heart, Leo just might be your perfect match!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and LEO was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, LEO’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the LEO’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, LEO’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
