About this Dog
Meet Roxy â A Shy Girl Turned Social Butterfly!Roxy is an almost 3-year-old beauty who came to the shelter with her buddy Bradley. Both were shy and unsure at first, but thanks to the support of our Shy Dog Program, Roxy has truly blossomed into a more confident, affectionate girl. While sheâs still a bit stressed in the kennel, once she steps outside, Roxy lights up. She may pull slightly at first, eager to explore her surroundings, but settles down beautifully after some playtime. These days, she actively seeks out attention and affectionâgreeting visitors with a wagging tail and a soft, hopeful expression. Her previous owner shared that Roxy is housebroken and, like many smart and active dogs, she thrives on daily exercise and mental stimulation. Sheâs looking for a home that will keep her engaged, enriched, and included as part of the family. Roxyâs ideal home is with an active individual or family whoâs ready to keep her mind and body busy. Children 12 and older are recommended due to her initial shyness and energetic nature. She might enjoy having a playful dog sibling, and we encourage a meet-and-greet to see if itâs a good match. Roxy would love a home where daily walks, games, or even fun training sessions are part of the routineâand if she gets to splash around in a pool or enjoy some water play, even better! Roxy is ready to leave shelter life behind and become someoneâs loyal, loving companion. Could that someone be you?

100% of ROXY's balance will be sent to whoever adopts ROXY.
Adopt ROXY and Receive ROXY's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ROXY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is ROXY's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the ROXY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming ROXY's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ROXY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ROXY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ROXY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ROXY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
