Stubbs is a mature, affectionate and obedient good boy who is looking for a loving home. He came to the shelter when his owner passed away and he is so deserving of a loving home that wants a loyal companion.He loves hanging out with you and keeping you company. He's mellow and easy-going yet alert. He is quiet overall but will alert you if he hears something concerning. He has good manners, listens well, knows sit, comes when called and is housetrained.Stubbs is a great hiking partner and keeps up a good pace for his age. He loves going for walks and rides well in the car. He's a very manageable size of about 50 lbs in a compact bod. He is in good shape for his age and you would never guess he is 9yo by looking at him.While he has lived with other easy-going dogs, he is just as happy being a solo pet. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and STUBBS was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, STUBBS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the STUBBS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, STUBBS’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
