About this Dog
Meet Charlie! He’s a 3-year-old Husky mix, likely with some Labrador Retriever, and is full of energy and charm. Charlie is boisterous but calms down with time and shows off his good manners. He knows basic commands, is house-trained, uses a dog door, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. This playful pup loves water, chasing balls, and is great with older kids. Charlie is looking for a new home due to his owner’s recent health challenges. After losing her eyesight earlier this year, she’s hopeful for recovery but can no longer care for Charlie’s active lifestyle. Charlie does well with dogs his size and energy level, but he’s not a match for smaller dogs or cats. His high energy makes him a bit too much for small pups—he currently lives with one and is fine indoors, but outside, he tends to run him over. Charlie has a strong prey drive, so he’s not suited for homes with small animals or cats. He’s currently in a yard with a less-than-4-foot fence and doesn’t jump or dig out, but a taller fence (at least 5 feet) would be ideal for added security. He needs a loving family who can give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. If you’re ready for an energetic companion, Charlie might be your perfect match!

Adopt Charlie and Receive Charlie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Charlie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Charlie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Charlie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Charlie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Charlie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Charlie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Charlie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Charlie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
