**Meet Merida: The Energetic and Loving Husky!** This vibrant young husky mix is as sweet as she is stunning, with her gorgeous red and white coat and soulful brown eyes. Merida is energetic and adventurous, so she’ll need plenty of exercise and a secure, fenced yard (at least 6 feet tall). She gets along great with other dogs and would love a playful companion. She even did well with a cat in her foster home! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate pup to join your adventures, Merida could be your perfect match! ❤️ Merida was one of nine puppies that were born to Ellie. Ellie is a Husky/collie mix. We think the father is all or mostly husky. Timber has a black, white with some brown coat. He has a blue and brown eye. The suspected parents were pulled from a shelter together and have been with us since a few weeks before the puppies were born. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Merida was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Merida’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Merida’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Merida’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
