About this Dog
Hi! My name is Alex and I am looking for a forever home, I was picked up by animal control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter. They found a microchip in me when they checked and tried contact my registered owner; unfortunately, they never called or came by to get me. After my extended hold was up and I ended up on something bad called "the list", BCAA heard about my predicament and said they would help me find a forever home that would keep me safe. I appear to be a silver and tan yorkie and recently groomed. The vet feels like I'm around 8years old but my foster mom says I act much younger as I love running around and am just a super happy boy. I have gotten along with the other small dogs I have met but have shown a little too much interest in the cats to go to a home with them. I have done well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of any bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you and will let you know if I see or hear you. I really enjoy going on walks or riding tethered in a car as it means I get to go on an adventure and be with you. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
Contribute to Alex's Stash!

100% of Alex's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Alex.
Adopt Alex and Receive Alex's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Alex's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Alex's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Alex, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Alex's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Alex was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Alex’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Alex’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Alex’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
