About this Dog
Hi! My name is Nina and I am looking for a forever home. I am 6 years old and weigh 10 pounds. My previous owner was what is known as a backyard breeder and now that I am older and don't have as many puppies at a time, she asked a small local rescue about taking me and my friend Neva. A volunteer with that rescue reached out to BCAA to see if they could help us and they said yes! I appear to be maybe a silky terrier mixed with ? but no one knows for sure. I was pretty matted when I came in and BCAA got me a spay day with the groomer who said she unfortunately had to shave me all the way down. But I'm not worried 'cause my foster mom says I will be even more beautiful once my coat grows back out. When I first came into foster, I was a little scared & shy, but it didn't take me long to realize my foster parents were really nice and wouldn't hurt me and now I get lots of loving which I adore! I have gotten along with the other small dogs I have met and I don't bother those things called cats. I currently share a crate with my friend Neve and we eat side-by-side without any issues; we have also done really well in our crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding although we would prefer to be out with you (I love having my own bed to snuggle in!). While I am learning about a leash and what is for, I have probably never had one on before so a physically fenced yard would be really nice for me in order for me to take care of my business. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
Contribute to Nina's Stash!

100% of Nina's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Nina.
Adopt Nina and Receive Nina's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Nina's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Nina's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Nina, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Nina's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nina was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nina’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nina’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nina’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
