About this Dog
Meet Peanut & Niblet – From Neglect to New Beginnings Their before pictures will break your heart. Peanut and Niblet came into a crowded kill shelter covered in pounds of painful, matted hair—barely able to walk, much less see. Niblet’s face was completely hidden behind mats. They were in agony and overlooked by adopters simply because of how they looked. But when we saw their pictures, we knew we had to act. They deserved a second chance. Now safe in foster care and fully shaved down, these sweet boys are like brand new pups—happy, relieved, and thriving. While they came in together, they are not bonded and would actually prefer separate homes where they can shine on their own. Peanut Male | ~2 years old | ~4 lbs This tiny boy is bursting with playful energy! Peanut loves toys, zooming around the house, and playing with other dogs. He’d do great with gentle kids who understand how small he is. He’s working on leash training and uses pee pads (though he may occasionally have fun tearing one up!). Peanut is a joyful spirit who’s ready to bring life and laughter to a loving home. Niblet Male | ~2–3 years old | ~6 lbs Niblet is the calmer of the two—laid-back and more reserved than his spunky former roommate. He also gets along well with other dogs and uses pee pads. Like Peanut, he’s still learning to walk on a leash but is doing well with routine and care. Niblet would love a quieter home where he can be loved and doted on at his own pace. These two have been through the worst and are now ready for the best. After being so badly neglected, they deserve homes where they’ll be cherished forever. Apply at bcaaofnj.org

100% of Niblet's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Niblet.
Adopt Niblet and Receive Niblet's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Niblet's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Niblet's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Niblet, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Niblet's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Niblet was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Niblet’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Niblet’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Niblet’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
