Meet Sally! Sally is a beautiful, gentle soul who’s currently finishing up heartworm treatment and will be ready for adoption in just a few weeks. This loving mama was rescued from a high-kill shelter and has been nothing short of amazing—both as a devoted mom and as a companion. She is 2 years old and weight 51 pounds. Her puppy has a found a great home and now it's her turn!Sally has a sweet, attentive demeanor and is incredibly well-behaved. She’s fully house-trained, does great in her kennel crate at night, and is trustworthy when left loose in the house. She knows her basic commands—come, stay, sit, and shake—and follows them like a pro. She enjoys going for walks and car rides, but at heart, she’s a true homebody. Even when outside of her fenced yard, she sticks close and will return to the front door if she hops the 4-foot fence. (Yes, she can jump—but she doesn’t wander far!)Sally is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages. She’s calm, affectionate, and has that special, steady presence that brings peace to a home.She’s been a supermom to her puppy Brandy, and now it’s her turn to be spoiled with love. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sally was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sally’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sally’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sally’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
