About this Dog
My name is Josie and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where I was put in a kennel with several other big dogs. Unfortunately, I was also pregnant and started having my puppies overnight while no one was there to help me. Three of my puppies survived and BCAA has already helped them find forever homes and now they are saying it's my turn. I weigh right around 40lbs and I am 18 months old. I haven't had a lot of opportunity to trust people so I'm still shy when I first meet new people. Lucky for me, my foster parents are real patient with me and I am slowly coming out of my shell & enjoy a good head/ear rub. They say I'm a super sweet girl and beautiful to boot with my gorgeous gray coat. I love other dogs and my head and tail comes up when I get to be with them so I would love a home with another confident dog to show me the ropes. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding. I love my food and treats which I take very gently. I'm good on leash and once I trust you, love going for walks. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.

100% of Josie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Josie.
Adopt Josie and Receive Josie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Josie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Josie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Josie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Josie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Josie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Josie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Josie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Josie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
