About this Dog
Meet Janet! Janet is a bold and beautiful 4.5-month-old pup, likely a pit mix, with a heart as big as her personality. Weighing about 26 pounds, she’s full of energy, very affectionate, and always up for fun. She loves to play tug and would thrive with a playful dog companion to keep her company.Janet is very friendly with everyone she meets and loves people, though her excitement and enthusiasm might be a bit much for very small children. She’s not a big barker, but she’ll let you know if a stranger’s nearby. She enjoys car rides, is learning the leash like a champ, and comes when called—especially if treats are involved!Janet isn’t fully housebroken yet, but she’s doing well with regular outdoor breaks. Like many puppies, she can be a little mouthy, but she’s learning boundaries quickly. At the dog park, she’s a total social butterfly, happily playing with dogs big or small, as long as they want to romp. This sweet girl came from a tough start and is still figuring out that the good life is here to stay. She’s the kind of pup who bonds deeply and loves hard—on walks, she’ll even check behind her to make sure you’re still with her. Janet is looking for a patient, loving home that can help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Apply to adopt Janet at bcaaofnj.org and let the adventures begin!

Adopt Janet and Receive Janet's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Janet's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Janet's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Janet, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Janet's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Janet was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Janet’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Janet’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Janet’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
