Meet Hades – Your Loyal, Loving Companion Hades is a 3½-year-old, 55-pound American Pitbull Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. This handsome boy is house trained, crate trained, and a perfect gentleman in the car. He’s great with children, gets along well with other dogs, and is happy to meet new people. Hades has no guarding tendencies, is good with groomers, and will gladly be your tug-of-war champion. He’s an affectionate, loyal companion who loves deeply and bonds strongly with his people. While he can get a little excited and jump up to say hello, that’s simply his joy shining through—and with a bit of consistent training, he’ll have that under control in no time. Fireworks might earn a few barks from him, but otherwise, he’s an easygoing guy. Hades is up to date on vaccinations, will be neutered prior to adoption, and just needs his flea/tick and heart worm preventatives to be set for the season. He does have seasonal allergies but is otherwise in great health. Hades’ current owner is heartbroken to part with him due to housing issues and the threat of eviction. She wants nothing more than for him to find a safe, loving forever home where he will never have to worry about losing his family again. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hades was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hades’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hades’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hades’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
