About this Cat
Francis is looking for a patient owner willing to give him time to become his cuddly self! He was running around a neighborhood in Trenton crying at people's doors, but he ran off when they opened the door. So they set a trap for him and he was naturally terrified for a while. We thought he might actually be feral and should go back to his neighborhood, but his finders wanted to try to see if he might "come around" if they took him inside for a few weeks. After 2 DAYS of being paralyzed with fear and making eyes at each other, they had a breakthrough! He inched closer to the food dish being held by his foster dad and was eating then purring up a storm and pushing his head into dad's hands to ask for pets! He's learning how to play with wand toys and wants to come out of his shell. We think he is around 2 years old and was probably someone's house cat at some point - and given time to learn trust he should be a wonderful pet! This guy has some extra toesies so he's a polydactyl kitty. If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!

Adopt Francis Hill and Receive Francis Hill's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Francis Hill's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Francis Hill's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Francis Hill, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Francis Hill's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Francis Hill was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Francis Hill’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Francis Hill’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Francis Hill’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
