About this Dog
We unfortunately have to rehome Miss Margot :’-(. Margot and another dog got into a fight that she didn’t initiate—she tried to mount our male dog playing in the backyard, and he snapped at her. Both dogs are ok. She is still her sweet amazing self, but needs to be an only dog in the house. She knows her basic commands (sit, down, come, stay, high five, and we’ve been working on quiet), does pull on the leash. Her favorite activities include going on walks, running, and chewing on ropes or silicon bones, and cuddling up in a soft blanket or on a pillow. Margot is an amazing companion, curling up next to you at any opportunity. She is loyal to her owners. we have everything that an owner would need, and would be happy to give her supplies along with her if we found a person or organization that would take her and provide a full, upfront, and honest history. She’s such a good girl and this wasn’t her fault, we missed the warning signs. She doesn’t deserve to be put down or sit in a shelter for got knows how long without attention.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Margot was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Margot’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Margot’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Margot’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
