About this Dog
PLEASE READ FULLY TO SEE REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION Help us find a forever home for Michelle a beautiful 3-year-old female Shih Tzu who was rescued from a puppy mill with her sister Romy. She been through a lot and is now seeking a loving family who can provide her with the care and attention she deserves. Michelle, with her lovely cream-colored coat, is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is ready to embark on her new journey with her forever family. While Michelle is almost housebroken, she may still require a little patience and guidance in her new home. She is slowly coming out of her shell and has shown remarkable progress since her rescue. Although she may initially be cautious around new people, she quickly warms up and will become affectionate companion. Michelle will need a home with another dog to continue to learn how to be the best dog she can be as well as a completely secure fenced yard. Due to Michelle’s small size, it is essential that she finds a home with older children who can understand and respect their delicate nature. Michelle is eagerly searching for a family who can provide her with a calm and patient environment, allowing her to continue building trust and feeling safe. She deserves a loving home that understands her past and is committed to giving her the love, care, and attention she needs. To meet Michelle go to petresqinc.org and fill out an adoption application. Michelle DOES NOT walk on a leash. She enjoys running around in a fenced in yard.

Adopt Michelle and Receive Michelle's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Michelle's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Michelle's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Michelle, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Michelle's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Michelle was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Michelle’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Michelle’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Michelle’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
