About this Dog
Meet Simon – Your Tiny Shadow with a Huge Heart! At just 4.5 pounds and 6 years old, Simon the Yorkie may be small, but he’s bursting with personality, charm, and just the right dash of sass to keep you smiling all day long. Simon is the definition of a loyal companion. He’s happiest being close—curled up in your lap, snoozing by your feet, or trailing you like a fuzzy little shadow. He thrives on attention and affection and will follow you from room to room like he’s making sure you’re never lonely. When you finally sit down, don’t be surprised if he spins in excitement before leaping into your lap like he’s been waiting for this moment all day. He’s also full of hilarious and heart-melting quirks—like giving you the most expressive side-eye when you're staying up too late or rolling around dramatically in his foster mom’s lap until she gives in and rubs his belly. He also has a playful side, tossing his chew bones in the air, chasing them down, and entertaining himself with joyful little zoomies. Simon is looking for a calm, loving home where he can shine. While he’d still love to be the center of your world, he’s done well with the small dogs in his foster home and may enjoy the company of a gentle, respectful canine buddy. He’s not a fan of cats and would prefer a home without small children, though older, calm teens are just fine. If you’re searching for a low-key, affectionate sidekick with a big heart in a tiny frame, Simon is ready to be your devoted little best friend. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected] if you are interested! PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region. Adopt SIMON and Receive SIMON's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, SIMON's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is SIMON's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the SIMON, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming SIMON's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and SIMON was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, SIMON’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the SIMON’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, SIMON’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
