About this Dog
Meet Tank - A Gentle Giant Ready for Love At just 10 months old and 72 pounds, Tank is already showing the gentle, inquisitive spirit that makes Great Danes so beloved. His early life wasn't filled with the kindness or attention every pup deserves. Tank came from an apartment where exercise and love were in short supply. When a puppy’s curiosity got the better of him and he chewed through a computer cord, his owner responded with heartbreaking cruelty—throwing him out with the cleaning lady. That woman couldn’t keep Beau, but she refused to let him suffer another moment of abuse. Thanks to her compassion and quick thinking, Tank was rescued and placed in a loving Great Dane-experienced foster home. He’s now fully vetted, neutered, and blossoming into the incredible companion he was meant to be. Tank s wonderful with people and gets along beautifully with other dogs. His foster home also includes horses, a donkey, a pot belly pig, cats, and a variety of pups—and Beau is thriving in their company. He’s learning boundaries, working on his manners, and showing every day that he’s ready to be someone’s best friend. This sweet, soulful boy is looking for a forever family who understands the needs of a young Great Dane. He has so much potential and love to give—and all he asks in return is kindness, patience, and a place to call home. We transport to the Northeast every weekend! Adopt TANK and Receive TANK's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, TANK's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is TANK's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the TANK, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming TANK's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and TANK was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, TANK’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the TANK’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, TANK’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
