Meet Orion! He may be young but he is already a force to be reckoned with! This playful, intelligent pup was found in the woods of Mississippi with his German Shepherd mama (father unknown) and littermates. Despite running wild, Orion has proven to be naturally friendly, curious, and full of life. At approximately 10 weeks old and 15 pounds, he is growing fast and showing signs of being a strong and confident boy. He absolutely loves to have attention and demands it! He is sweet, affectionate, and always ready for the next adventure. Orion will thrive in a home with an active family who can keep up with his energy and intelligence level. Possibly a family with a pool as he adores playing in water!! He needs structure, guidance, and someone who is familiar with the German Shepherd breed. If given the chance, he will try to rule the roost. With the right balance of love and leadership, Orion will grow into an amazing companion. He is bright and a fast learner so training should be a breeze! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and PUPPY ORION was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, PUPPY ORION’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the PUPPY ORION’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, PUPPY ORION’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
