About this Dog
Meet Stedman – A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold With his bear cub good looks and soulful eyes,Stedman is the kind of puppy who quietly captures your heart and never lets go. At 10 weeks old (July 16) and already 20 pounds, this Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix is destined to grow into a big, beautiful boy—likely around 75 pounds of love, loyalty, and fluff. Stedman’s journey began in the woods of rural Tennessee, where he was found wandering with his littermates, including his sister, Oprah. While she leads with confidence, Stedman is the quieter spirit—thoughtful, a little reserved, and deeply observant. He’s still learning that the world is a safe place, and he needs a patient, loving family to help him feel truly at home. With his thick black fur, snow-white socks, and adorable speckled legs, Stedman looks like a tiny forest guardian. But behind his strong appearance is a puppy who just wants to feel secure. He’s doing great with kennel training, sleeping through the night with little to no accidents, and loves curling up for long, peaceful naps after a good play session. This sweet boy will grow into not just a companion, but a loyal protector and a calming presence in your life. Because of his size and breed mix, we recommend a home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore and stretch those long legs. If you're ready to give Stedman the love and safety he’s been waiting for, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected]. His forever family is out there—maybe it’s you. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]

Adopt PUPPY STEDMAN and Receive PUPPY STEDMAN's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, PUPPY STEDMAN's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is PUPPY STEDMAN's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the PUPPY STEDMAN, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming PUPPY STEDMAN's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and PUPPY STEDMAN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, PUPPY STEDMAN’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the PUPPY STEDMAN’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, PUPPY STEDMAN’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
