Meet Mable – Your New Best Friend Mable is a 3 year old Beagle beauty who is ready for a brand-new chapter in life. This sweet girl is fully vetted, housebroken, and doesn’t need a crate—she’s a respectful and well-mannered companion. Mable’s heart shines brightest around people, especially children, and she enjoys the company of other dogs. Cats can be a little tricky for her, but she can peacefully live with one. She’s quiet around the house and only gives a friendly bark when someone is at the door. Up until now, Mable has lived a very calm and sedentary life with her elderly owner. While she has been deeply loved, she hasn’t had the chance to truly explore the world or stay active. Because of this, she’s carrying a little extra weight at 43 lbs. In April of 2024 she weighed 30 pounds when adopted by the elderly man but quickly she added the extra 13 pounds over 16 months and now Mable is eager to slim down and thrive in a home where she can enjoy walks, playtime, and maybe even a fenced yard to run in. She loves car rides and hops in and out all on her own with slow ease and is ready for adventure! Mable is a delightful, loyal friend who simply needs a family that will help her shine. She’s a young, vibrant Beagle who deserves the chance to live life to the fullest—with plenty of love, fresh air, and fun. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MABEL was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MABEL’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MABEL’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MABEL’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
