July 2025: Our little Lady received a haircut and is looking sleek and trim this summer. She is still a tad unsure of other dogs and takes some time to warm up. Lady is potty and crate trained, and knows basic commands. Her fosters usually crate her when they leave, but she has been left alone in the house on occasion and has done fine. She is sweet, calm, very loyal and affectionate. She loves her walks. May 2025: Lady was estimated to be approximately 2 years old at time of rescue (12/2024). March 24, 2025: Lady is doing very well in her Foster home and is very ready for her Forever home. She is quite the lady and sits or stands pretty for her numerous photos. Feb 13, 2025: Lady is now with her Foster in New Jersey. Jan 5, 2025: Lady is ready to fly. She has been spayed, tested negative for heartworm and has received her vaccinations. Lady and Scooter were found together on Christmas Day. They are a heartwarming reminder that some bonds are simply unbreakable. Lady, a gorgeous black mixed breed, is about 30 pounds of gentle sweetness and quiet confidence. Her brindle buddy, Scooter, is the same size and is learning to trust the world with Lady as his guiding light. Dec 30, 2024: Lady and (Scooter) were rescued together. We think they are mother and son. They will be seeing the vet soon!

Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lady (Foster in NJ)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lady (Foster in NJ)’s balance will remain in our general fund.
