Hi there, I'm Fandango! I'm a 1-year-old pup, about 50 pounds of lovable goof, and I’ve got the perfect mix of smarts, sweetness, and silliness. Life didn’t start out so great for me—I was rescued with my brother Pirata from a backyard breeder in Newark. But I’ve come a long way since then, and now I’m ready to find my forever family! I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and full of good habits. I already know some impressive commands like “sit,” “touch,” “down,” “wait,” and even “no.” I catch on fast—just show me what you want, maybe wave a treat in the air, and I’m all ears! I’m not the kind of guy to bolt out the door or drag you down the street either. I wait patiently to go outside and enjoy watching the world go by like a little neighborhood watchdog (without all the barking). I’m playful and love a good zoom around the yard, but I’m not over the top. I’ve got a good sense of balance—fun when you want it, chill when you don’t. Honestly, I make an excellent couch buddy. Whether you're binging your favorite show or just relaxing, I’ll be right there beside you, happy to snuggle up. When it comes to food, I’m super respectful. I don’t beg—I’ll just sit nearby like a true gentleman and see if you feel like sharing. If not, that’s okay too. I wait patiently for my meals, and I’m not pushy about it at all. I love going on adventures! Whether it’s a hike, a walk, swimming, a boat ride, or even hopping in the car, I’m ready to roll. I ride like a pro and am always up for exploring something new. I'm even great at the agility course, a real champ! When it's time to wind down, I’m more than happy to hang out in my crate. Give me a Kong with some peanut butter, and I’m content as can be. I don’t fuss when you leave or get overly excited when you return. I stay calm and cool through it all. One of the things they always laugh about is how clumsy I can be. What can I say? I’m still a puppy at heart, and sometimes my big paws haven’t quite figured out where the floor ends. But hey, that just adds to my charm. So yeah, that’s me—Fandango! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fandango NJ was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fandango NJ’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Fandango NJ’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Fandango NJ’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
