About this Dog
Copper's owner no longer wanted him and tried to surrender him to the local shelter. The shelter workers belittled him for bringing Copper there so the man left with Copper. On his way home he abandoned Copper on the side of the road and then went home. After 7 hours the man started feeling guilty and went back to see if Copper was still there. He went back to the exact spot that he left Copper and there the dog was, still sitting on the side of the road where he'd been abandoned. A rescuer heard Copper's story so she intervened and took him in as a foster. Copper has now been fully vetted and he's waiting to make the trip to EHR to find a new life. Copper is very sweet and loving. This lady has several dogs, and he is fine with them. He walks on a leash and is crate trained. He is a young dog of approximately 17 months old and weighs 48 pounds If you'd like to meet sweet Copper & give him the life he deserves, please complete an adoption application at www.ehrdogs.org and be sure to ask for COPPER WILSON SCAS!
