About this Dog
Inara certainly lives up to her name, which means “ray of light!” This little border collie mix was found on the Texas and Mexico border, all alone and wandering in search of humans and food. A caring border patrol agent scooped her up and kept her safe. Inara is house and crate trained. She’s well-behaved on car rides. She LOVES other dogs and will probably prefer a home with another dog. She currently lives in foster with several other dogs of all sizes, and she gets along well with everyone. She loves to play and chase her foster siblings around the yard. She has a very sweet, shy personality and the silkiest coat. She is working on learning more commands and leash skills in her foster home. At night, she sleeps on a dog bed on the floor in her foster parents’ room. During the day, she is crated when her foster parents aren’t home. She’s very compliant at the vet, and people comment on what a “gem” she is wherever she goes! Inara is microchipped, spayed, up to date on vaccines and her adoption fee is $415. Apply to adopt INARA LONESTAR at www.ehrdogs.org

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Inara Lonestar, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Inara Lonestar's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Inara Lonestar was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Inara Lonestar’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Inara Lonestar’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Inara Lonestar’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
