About this Dog
***Reggie is being fostered near Bristol, PA. An application for his adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com. Questions about Reggie and/or our adoption event should be sent to [email protected]; please do not call the rescue's phone number.*** Shortly after wrapping up a concert in Macon, GA, Grammy award winning Jazz singer/songwriter Nicole Zuraitis came across a stray dog and her five puppies lying in the grass in front of an abandoned house. With a heavy amount of compassion in her heart, Nicole not only left food for the stray mom and pups, she also began contacting rescues to see who could help them but wasn't having much luck as every place she contacted was packed full. With just a day left before she was to head overseas to perform concerts in Europe, Nicole finally made contact with SoCo Rescue. After sharing Nicole's post about the dogs, a fellow rescuer Shawna Simmons, was able to help find a foster for mom and pups until we could get them into our rescue. Luckily, the foster decided to adopt the mom and on April 12, we were able to get the five pups. Reggie is clearly the more alpha pup of this litter and was the first to become very accepting of human contact. He is very food motivated and that's what's helped him to become better socialized towards people. He does play well with other dogs but at times, can be a bit overpowering with them. Still, Reggie is a great puppy who will make someone a very good companion. Reggie has received all of his first year "puppy" vaccinations, de-wormings and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He's also been neutered. He will do best in a home without a lot of commotion and would benefit from having another dog in the home. **Mom picture**

Adopt Reggie and Receive Reggie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Reggie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Reggie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Reggie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Reggie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Reggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Reggie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Reggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Reggie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
