She was scared in beginning without her littermates but have now learned to trust. She surprises me daily with how smart & well behaved she is. She sleeps thru the night, no accidents in her xpen, house/crate trained, loves to snuggle, loves to play ball & enjoys going for walks/hikes. I have nothing but great things to say about her!! She is easy to love! ———- Lyra and her eight siblings came in as owner surrenders. The pups, only 7-8 weeks old at the time, had not received any of their required vaccinations or de-wormings and were left to roam freely around the property which was littered with trash, broken down vehicles and other unsanitary conditions. upon their arrival to SoCo Rescue, we immediately began administering their vet care. Lyra is a very playful, friendly and well socialized pup. We found out during her photo shoot that he loves the water as Lyra and all of his siblings made a dash towards our pond and jumped in it! We're expecting him to grow to be a large dog. Lyra is great candidate as a family companion Lyra has now received all of her first year "puppy" vaccinations, de-wormings and other preventative care. She's also been started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Adopt Lyra and Receive Lyra's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lyra's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lyra's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lyra, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lyra's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lyra was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lyra’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lyra’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lyra’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
