An application for the adoption of Posey can be submitted at socorescue.com. *** Meet Posey, a 40 pound, 2.5 year old bulldog mix. Her DNA results say she’s 12% beagle, 8% lab and 2% Weimaraner (hence the beautiful blue eyes!). While Posey’s eyes are what will draw you in first, it’s her sweet, playful personality that will make you fall in love! She loves nothing more than being with people, and will happily give kisses and hugs to just about anyone. She’s full of energy during the day and loves to run like the wind and play with her toys, but in the evenings she’s happy to curl up and snuggle. Posey was adopted from SoCo as a puppy and has lived with her family outside of Philadelphia since then. While they absolutely adore her, Posey and their older dog have not been getting along well, so they made the very difficult decision to find a new home where she can thrive. Posey will be best suited to a home where she is the only pet. Because of her high energy level, a family with older children would be preferred. Posey is fully potty trained and walks well on a leash with a front-clipped harness. Her current home has an invisible fence, which works well for her. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. (Picture of Posey's mom are included.)

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Posey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Posey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Posey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Posey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
