About this Dog
Willow is a small, 18 pound, approximately one year old female. We aren't too sure of her mix. She was pulled from a kill shelter just in the knick of time. Unfortunately once we got her to a vet we found out that she was heartworm positive so she has had to stay in Texas while undergoing treatment. Happily, she will complete treatment on 8/6 and be ready to come to the NJ area on our next transport. Willow gets along great with humans and cats, but we think that she would do best as an only dog as she can be dog selective. She loves to be around and cuddle with humans - which is super snuggly since she has a very soft coat. She is potty and crate trained. When outside she will come when called and she's working on learning how to sit. She's a calm dog, except for the occasional and typical doggie spurts of zoomies. She likes to play with toys and loves to chew on hard bones. Personality: playful, affectionate, calm, likes to cuddle Good with: people (has not been around kids yet) and cats. Would do best as only dog. Training: housebroken, crate trained, comes when called, working on "sit" Estimated date of birth: 7/26/24 Weight: 18 pounds Medical: vetted, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport. Adopt Willow and Receive Willow's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Willow's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Willow's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Willow, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Willow's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Willow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Willow’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Willow’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Willow’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
