Looking for a loving companion? Meet Pancake, a charming young pup who's come a long way! She and her mom, Shirley, were rescued from challenging conditions when Pancake was just 3 weeks old. Now, Pancake is flourishing in her temporary foster home and is ready for her own family. Pancake is about 10 months old, and weighs about 30 lbs. She has long legs, a skinny body, and amazing ears. She's vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Pancake is very affectionate and playful. She sits for her food and treats. Understands commands for: No, Stay, Stop, and Sit. She is jouse trained, but you do need to read her clues. She hates being crated. She does not bark or chew stuff around the house. When she first meets strangers (unless she's at home) she will initially back - but it's all bark and no bite...she's not aggressive at all. She needs a little time to feel comfortable, but once she does, she'll be your loyal, cuddly little shadow. She absolutely loves her toys, especially the squeaky kind. She loves to play with her human and knows how to settle down after a game for a good nap. At night, she loves to sleep close to you and be covered with a light blanket - then she sleeps through the night. Please complete our application and get approved to meet with Pancake. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pancake was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pancake’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pancake’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pancake’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
