When Jody and his sister (adopted) were first seen, they roamed the streets with their mother and siblings. It took some time to trap these two. The 3rd sibling was hit by a truck trailer and passed away. The mother and a 4th dog were never seen again. When they first came to us, they were very skinny and had very bad skin. Thanks to good food and proper veterinary care they are now healthy and ready to go home. Jody loves attention - especially when he is being pet, and he would love to sleep with you. He's a playful boy who enjoys playing with squeaky toys. He's good with other dogs. The best home for Jody will be a family/owner with a lot of love to give and patience. Jody has been fostered in TX long enough. He needs to find his family and go home somewhere in NJ area!! Personality: loves attention, playful, a bit shy at first Good with: people of all ages (including kids), and dogs. Has not been cat tested yet. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jody was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jody’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jody’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jody’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
