Roxie is a 5 month old (as of mid-June) female who is thought to be Black Mountain Cur (maybe boxer) mix. She was saved from a high kill shelter in south Texas. A wonderful short-term foster took her and her 2 sisters in until they were transported to another foster in Houston. All 3 sisters are dog and cat-friendly, fully vaccinated, on heart worm preventative, and were recently spayed. Their weight ranges between 24-27 pounds. Roxie, when compared to her sisters, is the social butterfly and life of the party. Personality: friendly, playful, social butterfly Good with: people of all ages (including kids), dogs, and cats Estimated date of birth: 1/17/25 Weight: approx. 24-27 pounds Medical: Fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roxie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roxie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Roxie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roxie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
