Caroline is a beautiful girl who is looking for a new home. Caroline is currently with one of our sister rescues in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Caroline is a sweet soul who had a sad start. She was picked up as a stray, way too skinny and no one came to claim her - thankfully. Caroline is calm and timid with adults but she lights up around kids. She is one of those dogs who is going to take a little extra work and love due to her neglect in the past but it is so worth it to watch her learn to love and trust. Caroline loves other dogs and is very playful. She is a whole new pup now that she is in a loving foster home. Caroline is fixed, microchipped and she is up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $550. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Caroline - Sweet Caroline! was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Caroline - Sweet Caroline!’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Caroline - Sweet Caroline!’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Caroline - Sweet Caroline!’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
