About this Dog
Benny is a handsome Shih Tzu who is looking for a new home. Benny is now in a NJ foster home, living his best life! Benny was surrendered by his owner to our partner rescue in Louisiana when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. Family members took him initially, but were unable to keep him long term. Our partner rescue got him groomed and got him the medical care he needed. Benny is dog and kid friendly. He loves everyone he meets on our walks, and especially seems to enjoy children. He's a very sweet boy who really likes to cuddle. We haven't seen him with cats, but his Louisiana foster said he's fine with them. Benny is living with 4 small dogs in his foster home, but he's been fine meeting larger dogs as well. He is crate trained and non destructive in his foster home. Benny is mostly housetrained, but will potty on pads as well. Benny is neutered, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450. How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to wagoninn.rescuegroups.org . Click on the orange Online Adoption Application button to fill out an application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon!

Adopt Benny and Receive Benny's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Benny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Benny's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Benny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Benny's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Benny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Benny’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Benny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Benny’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
