About this Cat
Tiggy is five years old this October and has been with our family since he was a baby. He loves blankets. He loves taking his naps on our closed in porch and he loves sleeping on the foot of our bed some nights. He is very intelligent, he loves to eat and he always greets anyone in our family at the door when we come home from anywhere. His behavior is more like a dog than it is a cat. He follows us everywhere we go in the house. He stays in the room with us and lays down. He always wants to spend time with us. He does have a strong personality and I would not consider him a typical lap cat. He does love his head and neck scratched. Overall, He would need time to adjust to a new environment and a new family Be patient with him and give him his space until he adjusts to his new family. He has been a wonderful member of our family. We love him very very much, and we are saddened that we have to let him go..

How will Tiggy receive the contribution?

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tiggy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tiggy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Tiggy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tiggy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
