About this Dog
AUBREY is a delightful 2-year-old golden yellow lab mix. She is spayed and housebroken. She knows and behaves to commands, sit, stay and come. She has a quiet demeanor inside foster homes but is young and energetic when outside. She is friendly to children and other dogs. She will be a perfect family member and very loving companion. WHOEVER ADOPTERS HER WILL BE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE HER IN THEIR LIFE. Please fill out an application at www.animalsanctuarysosciety.org I HEAR LOTS OF RUMORS HOW WONDERFUL I AM AND AM A MEDIUM SIZE - 48 lbs. LOVE, AUBREY. PS. I HEARD I HAVE UNIQUE TWO TONE EYES (ONE PRETTY PARTIALLY BLUE EYE). UPDATE: Aubrey or Bree for short makes her new pet parents happy! (pic 3) They have a bed for her next to theirs, but even the first night she jumped on the bed to sleep squeezing herself in between the husband and wife. They even are getting her pet insurance. They seemed to like the pet insurance from chewy.com. Their daughter moved to her own place and took the dog. They missed the family dog so much that they adopted Aubrey, and happy they did. Here she is in a bright orange car seat harness we gave her. She also has a new regular collar with our telephone number ID tag that our dedicated volunteer Karen B. makes. She has a microchip too implanted in her. And a strong new green beautifully weaved leash we sent her home with along with a crate, strongly made toys, and a new bed for in the crate. She has a matching orange martingale collar for walking, so she doesn’t slip out of her collar. By the way, these are all good things to have for your dog. Look up martingale collar if you are not aware of what it is. They often need to be readjusted so they are not too big, allowing the dog to slip out. Lots of caring adopters seem to accidently buy large size collars, but many should be medium size, so measure only two figures through the collars and harnesses.
