My name is unique just like me, you see the Arroyo willow is known for its very hairy shoots and I’m told I have the softest fur you’ve ever felt! I’m the purrfect balance of playful and calm. Long and lanky, I love chasing a laser pointer or a jingle ball but am also content to curl up in a comfy cat tree. Churu treats and gentle pets are the way to my heart! I enjoy a good cuddle with my sister, Sitka. My sister is more reserved, she’s the analytical type that observes before acting. I’m more of a just go with it kind of guy.Both Arroyo and Sitka would do best in a quieter home without young children where they can become comfortable at their own pace. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Arroyo Willow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Arroyo Willow’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Arroyo Willow’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Arroyo Willow’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
