Although not from the same litter, both dogs share the same birthday. Joker and Harley have spent most of their 5 years together, enjoying the world and meeting new people. They are pure bred German Shepherds. Joker has the unique liver/tan color coat and Harley has a more classic black and tan coat. These two pals love to meet new people. They have been socialized with people and children all their lives. Joker and Harley also lived with an older Siberian Husky. However, these days Joker prefers to hang with Harley without any other dogs around. When Joker and Harley come out and meet new people, they are super-excited. They start off with a burst of energy and then eventually just hang out. Joker and Harley would do great in a family setting and preferably, but not required, a fenced in yard or at least an area where they can run around. These two besties are located in Morris County. The are currently part of our owner referral program, and are eligible for our foster to adopt program. Once you meet them, you will fall in love and enjoy their enthusiasm and playfulness. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Joker and Harley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Joker and Harley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Joker and Harley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Joker and Harley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
