About this Dog
This is Carmen! Carmen’s short little legs and brindle coat make her a unique and compact cutie! Carmen is a 1 year old mixed breed and weighs about 40 pounds. She is a sweet girl looking for her person or family where she will feel safe and loved. She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a minute and she will show you her silly playful side! Carmen loves to play and go for walks and is very easy to handle. She is not high energy and her exercise needs could easily be met with a couple of walks a day. Carmen would likely do best in an adult home. She is the perfect size and companion for someone looking for a low maintenance canine buddy to keep them company. Carmen likes other dogs and might even do well in a home with another calm dog to help build her confidence. Carmen is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is waiting for her forever home at Rescue Ridge in Monmouth County, NJ. Please apply to adopt Carmen at rescueridge.com. If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will get back to you shortly. No inquiries, please, without an adoption application.

Adopt Carmen and Receive Carmen's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Carmen's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Carmen's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Carmen, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Carmen's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Carmen was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Carmen’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Carmen’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Carmen’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
