About this Dog
Hi, we need to rehome our beautiful sweet Ozzie boy due to my wife’s severe allergies.
Ozzie turned 3 years in August , he’s a 29-pound Australian labradoodle. Very affectionate and has a sweet personality. Gives us actual hugs! Ozzie loves his toys - doggie stuffed animals-and playing fetch and tug.
Not destructive to homes, clothing, shoes etc- never chewed on furniture, etc. Trained on several commands: sit , down, stay, wait, dance, paw, high five! Highly food motivated to learn new things but not the smartest; takes him a while to learn….
Bad habits include jumping on visitors and still has issues healing while walking (loves to go on walks and dog parks!)
Home cannot include children nor other pets. Full disclosure: first family who took him in absolutely adored Ozzie, but after a week, he bit the toddler and the other dog. We are utterly shocked and rattled by this; believe Ozzie’s high jealousy tendencies led to this. Hence, no children nor other pets in new home will work
He has some environmental allergies and takes one prescription Apoquel pill with breakfast. ($198 for 3- month supply) He cannot have food with fish, dairy nor flax.
The little guy is Up to date on his shots. We have all of his records plus his paperwork from the breeder.
Oh, and after “night night potty ,” Ozzie happily puts himself to bed! 🐶🥰
He is so so very loved and will always have a piece of our hearts.

How will Ozzie receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ozzie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Ozzie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ozzie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ozzie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Ozzie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ozzie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
