About this Dog
Say hello to this fun loving, handsome, sweet dog Leo. He is thought to be a 1-2 year old collie/hound mix who needs a new home. Here is what his current owner has to say about him... He loves going for walks, playing with his toys, and going to the dog park. He is very social with both other dogs and their humans! When at home, he enjoys squeaky toys, bones, training sessions, and chasing a ball. During training sessions we are working on wait, stay, leave it, and off. He knows sit, down, (lay down) spin, paw, take it, and up. His manners such as jumping and containing excitement appropriately are also being addressed in training and he is progressing. He needs to be in a home that will continue working with him in these areas. When he has gotten his energy out, he enjoys laying on the couch and looking out the window. He truly is great with kids and is a gentle, sweet soul with a really wonderful demeanor. He would do best in an active home with a family who can dedicate time to giving him the exercise and activity that he needs. He thrives on being with his people and playing with other dogs. He would enjoy another dog in the home for company and to play with, or a work from home human. He is good with our cat. He does try to play with him despite the fact that our cat does not want any part of it. We have a crate that he uses freely but we have not crated him longer than a few hours at a time. He sleeps on a couch or on his dog bed. He is fully housebroken and up to date on shots. We are rehoming Leo because we have 2 young children with a 3rd on the way, and one of us was recently diagnosed with cancer. As such, we are no longer able to give him the optimal amount of daily exercise and feel that we are not able to meet his needs to maintain his happiness. Please contact Tara Hutto at [email protected] if you are interested in making Leo a part of your family. This is a courtesy post for the owner of this dog. You will not be adopting from Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue. Please contact the owner directly through the contact info provided.

Adopt Leo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Leo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Leo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Leo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Leo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Leo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Leo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Leo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Leo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
