About this Dog
Meet Isabella, a stunning young Shepherd/Hound mix who has been let down by the people in her life. This sweet girl is just 10 months old and already weighs 70 lbs, with a little more growing to do. She is high-energy, strong, and smart – a classic big puppy who needs guidance and love. Isabella’s story is heartbreaking. She came from an accidental litter and was “gifted” to an elderly couple in their 80s, living in a community with no fenced yard and with their own health struggles. Now she finds herself in a shelter, scared and confused, wondering what she did wrong. Despite everything, Isabella is a good girl. She is said to be friendly with other dogs, has been around kids 14+, and has no experience with cats. She has started basic obedience classes, but will need continued training to build her confidence and learn how to be the best version of herself. She would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard, people committed to giving her structure, positive training, and plenty of exercise and enrichment. Shepherd and Hound mixes are smart and driven, and Isabella is no exception. She just needs someone to finally do right by her. If you are ready for a loyal, loving, high-energy companion and have the time, patience, and commitment to help Isabella grow into a wonderful adult dog, please apply today. ✨ She didn’t ask for any of this – she just wants a family to love her forever.

Adopt Isabella and Receive Isabella's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Isabella's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Isabella's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Isabella, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Isabella's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Isabella was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Isabella’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Isabella’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Isabella’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
