Hatch Date: 2018 Teo is a DNA-confirmed female Sun Conure. She is very sweet and seems to do well with both men and females Not quick to step up on a hand, but will climb up your shoulder and can sit there for hours if you let her. She is a very good eater and has recently been introduced to new pellets. Different types of fresh veggies are also being offered. She definitely likes apples :) She came into our care due to a new cat in the house taking way to much interest in her. She is now being introduced to a house with other birds, but does not seem very interested in them, and only interested in the humans. As a Sun Conure, she can become very loud at times, but it is normal noise, no screaming for attention. Teo is being fostered in Leonardo, NJ.For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.We do not have a central location.You need to be within driving distance to make required visits and to adopt.We will NOT ship our birds.Since our adoptable birds live in volunteer homes or their family homes,we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.If you are interested in meeting Teo, please review our adoption policiesand complete an adoption application on our website, ftlob.rescuegroups.org.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Teo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
