About this Cat
Deer - Male DOB 6/5/2023 Domestic Short Hair - Gray Deer is a mellow, sweet-natured kitty who’s still figuring things out at his own pace. He can be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience (and maybe a few treats), he starts to come out of his shell. He’s made a great friend here at the rescue in Luke, and the two of them love to wrestle, play, and hang out together. They would love to be adopted together, and make a great duo if you're looking to add two playful cats to your home. He’s big on bird-watching and would be thrilled to have a sunny window and a comfy perch where he can relax and enjoy the view. A quieter home without dogs or young kids would suit his gentle personality best. Deer has recently had a dental where most of his teeth had to be removed. He is feeling much better now without that pain he had going on in his mouth. He is still doing great eating his wet and dry food. Deer might not be the first cat to demand your attention, but once he trusts you, he’s a quiet companion who brings a peaceful energy to the room—and he’ll be forever grateful for a home that gives him the space and love to just be himself. Adopt Deer AND Luke and Receive Deer AND Luke's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Deer AND Luke's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Deer AND Luke's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Deer AND Luke, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Deer AND Luke's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Deer AND Luke was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Deer AND Luke’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Deer AND Luke’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Deer AND Luke’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
