About this Cat
Benny - Male DOB 11/6/2019 Domestic Short Hair - Brown Tabby Benny is a big, brown tabby boy with an even bigger heart—he just needs the right person to help him show it. This sweet guy was surrendered to a southern shelter when his owner met someone allergic to cats. Understandably, he was shy and unsure at first, but with time and patience, he’s really come out of his shell. In his foster home, he would wait by the door to greet his person, purring and rubbing against her for attention. Benny would thrive in a calm, quiet home without dogs or young children. He doesn't seem to be crazy being around other cats, so if you're looking to give him your undivided attention, he'd be perfectly happy as your one and only. He’s not the type to climb into your lap or ask for endless pets (at least not yet), but he loves being in the same room with you, soaking up your company and being part of your day. He’s a little on the larger side and has been on a slow, steady diet to reach a healthier weight. He has lost a little bit of weight, so we are optimistic that he will continue to get to a healthier weight by staying on this diet dry food and wet food twice a day. He has a thick, plush coat that benefits from regular brushing—something he really enjoys. Benny’s ideal person is someone who’s home a lot, can give him the time he needs to settle in, and is ready to fall in love with a quiet, loyal companion who just wants to be near you. Adopt Benny and Receive Benny's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Benny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Benny's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Benny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Benny's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Benny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Benny’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Benny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Benny’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
