Brigid - Female DOB 4/30/2024 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Tabby Brigid is a stunning tricolor girl who’s a little more on the cautious side. You will need to approach her slowly with your hand or she may run from you, but if she is laying on a cat tree, she enjoys slow stroking pets. When you pet her face and chin, her purrs will let you know she’s enjoying the attention. She also loves slow, full-body pets. Brigid has become buddies with another kitty in our quiet room, Pepper, who has been seen laying together quite often, and sometimes she will also lay with her sister Zora but they don't seem as bonded as Brigid and Pepper are. They love to hang out on the big cat tree together, sometimes in the small hammock perch together and sometimes on the larger top shelf together. Brigid would like to go home with Pepper who she relies on for comfort and confidence. While they’re both a little shy at first, they love being pet and will thrive in a home where they can settle in at their own pace. They have both been enjoying venturing out into our main room when the chance arises. They have started to enjoy their time out exploring our bigger main room. She would also be fine going home with sister Zora who is also a bit on the shy side. These kitties are happiest together and would do best in a quiet, dog-free and kid-free home. They’re comfortable around other cats and will thrive with someone patient who understands their need for a calm and steady environment. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Brigid AND Pepper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Brigid AND Pepper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Brigid AND Pepper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Brigid AND Pepper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
