Pepper - Female DOB 12/26/2023 Domestic Short Hair Black - Introducing Pepper, a charming and slightly shy cat who is ready to find her forever home. While we don't know much about her past, we do know that Pepper is a bit timid at first but quickly warms up once she feels secure in her environment. She loves attention and being petted, reveling in the affection she receives. She is also very playful when someone plays with her favorite toy, the ribbon wand. We can't understand why this sweet, friendly girl has been with us for a year now. Since being in our quiet room, Pepper has found a friend, Brigid, which they have been seen laying together several times, so if you are looking for a companion with her, we recommend Brigid as her buddy. Pepper & Brigid's ideal home would be with no dogs and no small children where she is still on the shy side and may take a little bit to get settled into her new home. They have both been enjoying venturing out into our main room when they have the chance to. They have started to enjoy their time out exploring our bigger main room. Pepper's playful side shines when she's engaged with toys, ribbon wands, and tunnels, making these great tools for her to bond with you. She would do best going home with her buddy Brigid, where they are often seen laying or sleeping side by side on the cat tree. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pepper AND Brigid was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pepper AND Brigid’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pepper AND Brigid’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pepper AND Brigid’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
