Meet Stella! This sweet 3-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix is 20 pounds of pure love and playfulness! Stella is a total people-person (er… dog!) and adores getting attention from her humans. She may bark a bit when left alone, but she settles down quickly—especially if she has a cozy crate to hang out in. Stella is housebroken, crate-trained, and a superstar when it comes to playing fetch—she’ll happily chase a toy again and again with that adorable tail wagging! She’s also great with cats and would thrive in a home with another dog buddy to romp around with, as she loves to play! Squirrels, on the other hand… better watch out! While Greater Derry Humane Society does not require a fence for every dog, Stella would really like one so she can zoom around freely in a safe area. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion who’s always ready for a game or a cuddle, Stella might just be your perfect match!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Stella was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Stella’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Stella’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Stella’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
